Silhouette Cameo Old and New Blades

I wanted to share to everybody the difference between the old and new blades from Silhouette America. For those who bought Cameo and Portrait early last year and before that, a lot of complains were about cleaning the blades. If you have paper, vinyl or cardstock stuck inside, it's difficult to take them out, unless you take the blade apart. But with the way the blade was designed, it was difficult to do it, a lot of crafters attempt on opening the balde but end up ruining it or getting cut by it. After a lot of complaints, Silhouette America finally changed their blade housing. 

Early this year, I bought a couple of extra blades and noticed that the white part now have a screw top on. All you need to do is unscrew the white part where it doesn't have any red line, remove any debris and screw it back in. This is one of the reasons why I love SA, they listen to their customers and improve their products. I attached the comparison of the old and new blades.
